Laborer / Operator Trainee

Clover Flat Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Laborer / Scale House Attendant / Operator Trainee to join our team in Calistoga, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.The schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday. It will be an 8 hour shift between the hours of 5am and 5pm.The pay rate for this position is $20-25/hour depending on experience.Responsibilities Include:Litter pickingSpotting/directing trucksTraffic management - moving signs and conesEnsuring that all customers are wearing proper PPECleaning EquipmentTraining on heavy equipment operation and gas technician dutiesGreet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the landfill.Weighing trucks in and out and calculating payments for customers.Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.General site cleanup and landscapingPerforming other assigned duties at the landfill as neededWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noisesExtensive physical activity.
