This critical role involves delivering specialized care to patients with severe, life-threatening conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities of an ICU RN: Provide comprehensive, expert care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and adaptive care planning. Accurately administer medications, treatments, and advanced life-support measures as needed. Work closely with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care strategies. Operate and manage complex medical equipment, such as ventilators, monitoring systems, and life-support technology. Offer support and clear communication to patients' families, including education on the patient's condition and recovery. Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation of patient care in line with hospital and regulatory standards. Qualifications for Registered Nurse (ICU): Active RN license in New Mexico. Completion of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Required certifications: BLS and ACLS within the first two weeks of employment.
