Automotive Mechanic

Automotive Mechanics are characterized by their ability to analyze and diagnose the cause of breakdowns and faulty mechanical performance and then perform major mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on the following, but not limited to: engines (gas and diesel), clutches, torque converters, drive lines, chassis, brakes, steering and accessories. The vehicles and equipment can include, but are not limited to: ten wheel dump trucks, pickups, automobiles, school buses, graders, loaders, dozers, pavers, excavators, rollers, tractors, cranes and other equipment. This work may be performed in the field as well as the garage. Applications must be completed at the link on our website, cal-mum.org, under the District tab, Employment Opportunities. Persons wishing to be employed within a school district must be fingerprinted. Caledonia-Mumford School District utilizes the MorphoTrust system for digital fingerprinting.
