By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished goods delivery.Manage inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to minimize holding costs and prevent production delays or stockouts.Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Negotiate contracts with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, optimizing transportation routes and costs for inbound and outbound shipments.Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.Monitor logistics performance using key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Recommended QualificationsMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven expertise in inventory control, warehouse management, transportation planning, and freight optimization.Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of process improvement and team development.Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs, and trade compliance.Bonus QualificationsAPICS CSCP or CPIM certificationLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationProficiency with advanced WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle SCM)Experience with international shipping regulations and customs complianceJob Titles That Should ApplySupply Chain Manager, Distribution Manager, Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, Inventory Manager, Logistics Coordinator, Freight Manager, Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, Global Logistics ManagerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
