CNC Machinist

Job Full Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a well-known, long-standing company in Butte. This position involves the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical equipment, mechanical/electrical assembly, and high-precision fabrication shop welding of vessels and various structures. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble complex electro-mechanical equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. Weld and fabricate high-precision vessels and structural components. Interpret and follow engineered drawings and specifications. Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficient in manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, etc. Familiarity with both mill and lathe operations. Ability to hold tight tolerances ( ±0.001 in). Skilled in copying or slightly modifying sample parts. Strong communication and comprehension skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CNC mill programming and operation. Familiarity with GibbsCAM or similar CNC programming software.
