Child Care Worker

Schedule: Part-Time approximately 5-15 hours per week (Saturday evenings, Sundays, Wednesday Evenings, and special events).Job Description: Provides physical, emotional and intellectual stimulation and safety of children 0-5 years while working in the church's nurseries. Works under the direction of the Kids Jr Coordinator and Next Gen Pastor. Job Responsibilities:Develop a Christ-centered relationship with the children and co-laborersInteract with the children through play, games, and activitiesAssist to ensure order within the classroomParticipate in classroom activities, i.e., praise and worship, story and lesson time, prayer, etc.Assisting children during various classroom activities, i.e., crafts, snacks, etc.Support Ministry LeadershipAdhere to all policies and procedures as outlined within The Heights Church Kids Ministry Worker's ManualEnthusiastically complete any tasks and assignmentsAll Ministry Workers are expected to participate in the following aspects of the ministry: room preparation and cleanup, praise and worship, prayer, lesson activities, and craft time.Be available to attend any training or meetings scheduled by the Next Gen Pastor or The Heights Kids Jr Coordinator.
