Please see the job details below: Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Buhler, KS 67522 Facility type: Nursing Home Term: Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Five days in a week) Pay rate: $40/hr on W2 Start: ASAP Documents Required Updated Resume BLS Covid Vaccination Card Health records (PPD and Physical) if updated JOB DESCRIPTION: To apply physical therapy assistant procedures and modalities to patients to assist patients to achieve functional goals under the direction of qualified physical therapists. To follow established procedures pertaining to maintenance, adjustment, assembly and disassembly of physical therapy equipment. To perform procedures related to patient treatment and documentation in medical records. To assist with transfer of patients related to therapeutic exercise and physical therapy procedures, and to be responsible for the safety and care of patients assigned by a physical therapist or medical staff. The patient population includes a combination of physical disabilities, ventilator dependent, and those with mental health diagnoses.
