Job Title: Video ProducerReports to: Director, Marketing and CommunicationsOrganization: Roswell Park Alliance FoundationPosition SummaryThe Roswell Park Alliance Foundation is seeking a creative, motivated and mission-driven Video Producer to help tell the stories that inspire our community to take action in the fight against cancer. This position will support the development of compelling video content that drives participation in fundraising events, increases donor engagement and highlights the impact of philanthropy at Roswell Park.The Video Producer will capture, edit and produce content for digital, social media, events, campaigns and donor communications. This role will help bring to life stories from patients, survivors, researchers, physicians, volunteers and supporters through authentic and emotionally impactful storytelling.Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Production & StorytellingCapture and produce engaging video content for fundraising campaigns, events and digital platforms Edit short-form and long-form videos for live events, social media, email campaigns, websites and presentationsAssist in developing story concepts, interview questions and production plans Conduct on-site filming at events Help tell patient, donor and participant stories with empathy, professionalism and emotional impact Support production of content for signature events including Ride for Roswell, Empire State Ride, IceCycle, All Star Night and more.Content Creation & CollaborationWork closely with the marketing and communications team to align creative assets with campaign goals Assist in creating content optimized for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and web Organize and maintain video footage, project files and digital asset libraries Stay current on video trends, storytelling techniques and social media best practices Support livestreams or event presentation visuals when needed Photography (Preferred)Capture event photography and candid patient and donor imagery when needed Assist with photo editing and asset organization QualificationsBachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred Professional experience in video production or content creation Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects, Lightroom or Photoshop is a plus Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio equipment and lighting setups Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for emotionally compelling content Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends for events and shoots Passion for nonprofit storytelling, community engagement and mission-driven work Preferred SkillsPhotography experience Motion graphics or animation experience Experience creating vertical/social-first video content Familiarity with social media trends and content strategy Drone videography certification or experience is a plusWork Environment: This is an in-person position based in Buffalo, NY.Salary: $50,000
