This dynamic role involves providing care for adult patients requiring additional observation to determine whether hospital admission or safe discharge is appropriate. The unit is fast-paced, with 24/7 provider coverage and a high patient turnover of 20-27 individuals daily. With an average patient stay of 27 hours, this role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Competitive compensation is based on experience. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse adult population, including emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. Monitor and assess patients to determine the need for further treatment or safe discharge. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize telemetry to monitor and evaluate patient health effectively. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. Candidate requirements Active RN license for New York (NY) is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing. Telemetry experience is essential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. Why work with us?
