Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor 5 to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor 5, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing of Ecotec and V8 engines.    Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor 5 Location:Buffalo, NY Pay Range: $40-$45 per hour Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial environments as Maintenance supervisor What's the Job? Establish, implement, and maintain long-term plans for maintenance activities to improve efficiency and safety. Manage and troubleshoot CNC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Supervise a team of 10 to 15 leaders, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Support safety initiatives, enforce housekeeping standards, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Coordinate construction and maintenance projects, maintaining schedule and quality standards. What's Needed? Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial environments as Maintenance supervisor, with supervisory assistance preferred and a total of 10 years experience. Associate and bachelor’s degrees are required; technical, engineering, or technology degrees are a plus. Experience leading teams of 10-15 people with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed.
