Essential Qualifications Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in a related health field, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Required Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment. Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
