Position Summary: Customer Service Representative for Alterations The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in ensuring our Alterations department runs smoothly, while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, your primary responsibility will be to create an A+ customer experience for every client. Key responsibilities may include: Welcoming customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, online, and in person, and addressing their needs with clarity and a positive attitude. Utilizing systems to manage customer flow and ensure a five-star service experience. Meeting operational service vows, including Preparation, Welcoming, Addressing Needs, and Being Present for all customers. Providing exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously while addressing their concerns and collaborating with management when necessary. Effectively communicating the importance of alterations in perfecting the customer's dress. Promoting all alterations and personalization services. Maintaining store standards to support a flawless shopping experience. Upholding high dress code standards as per policy. Assisting customers with appointments, press garments, and ensuring timely pickups. Inspecting altered and cleaned garments to guarantee quality before returning to customers. Building long-term customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Facilitating inventory management, including special orders and transactions. Engaging in cash wrap activities and processing transactions accurately to celebrate every customer. Assisting in keeping the alterations room clean and organized. Completing tasks as assigned by management. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach for objects, perform manual tasks including POS system operations, and occasionally lift/move items up to 10 pounds. Requires visual acuity for close and distant tasks and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of retail experience in an apparel or specialty store. Experience in sewing is a plus.
