Robert Half has partnered with an industry leading manufacturing organization in NW Ohio as they look to add an experienced HR Business Partner to their team. As the successful candidate, you will:ResponsibilitiesConsult with, advise, and support business leaders regarding change initiatives, workforce planning, performance management, change management, talent management & development, compensation, engagement, employee relations, culture, diversity and inclusion and HR programs and projectsCoach and consult with relevant business groups to identify options and find the most appropriate solutions to meet the business needs; work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiativesLeverage HR data and workforce analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and provide actionable insights that support talent strategy, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.Coach managers to help them strengthen their people leadership skills; serve as a sounding board and confidant during difficult interactions and business situationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising on needed actionsDevelop and foster a highly engaged workforce for assigned teamsComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree, minimum (certifications a plus!)5+ years' total experience, with 3+ in a similar role (ideally)Desire to work with a dynamic team that drives low turnover and high employee satisfaction
