Director, Childcare Center

***MUST UPLOAD UPDATED RESUME***REQUIRED: Associate's of Applied Science in child development or a closely related field with six (6) college hours in child development and six (6) college hours in business management; and At least two (2) years of experience in a licensed child care center. Texas Day Care Director Certificate PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree with twelve (12) college hours in child development and six (6) college hours in business management; and At least one (1) year of experience in a licensed child-care center The role of the Director is to be responsible for a program to care for young child. The Day Care Director shall ensure the child care center's daily operation is administered with the minimum standards specified in Texas Administrative Code Chapter 746. In addition, the Day Care Director must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with relevant local, state, and federal policies and procedures. The Day Care Director is also to ensure that all employees comply with the minimum standards and that all employees are appropriately assigned and supervised.
