Workplace Safety & Loss Prevention Lead - Weekday Shift

POSITION SUMMARY Maintain the safety, security, growth, and profitability of the DC by supporting daily Loss Prevention and Safety (LP&S) functions. Provide training, guidance, and direction to employees to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives, contributing to the growth and profitability of the facility. Schedule: Monday- Thursday; 6am-4:30pm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Open and close the building daily, including management of alarm systems, badge access, and CCTV surveillance equipment. Conduct safety related trainings, including safety orientations and power equipment training. Ensure compliance with CTPAT guidelines and regulations. Investigate and document workplace accidents and injuries to determine root causes. Conduct internal and external safety and security patrols and audits. Monitor guard shack activity and incidents. Drive departmental productivity and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Coach and support the Loss Prevention & Safety Clerk to foster growth and development. Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
