Job Description:
While all teaching, instructional support and operational staff report to the Partners, every Co-Teacher Apprentice is assigned to a schoolhouse ("classroom"), working for and with their assigned Associate or Partner to teach students, conduct assessments and perform all other assigned duties including but not limited to management and instruction. Together with LeadTeachers, they are responsible for the creation, development and implementation of appropriate lesson plans and curriculum units for their students (though they may seek out guidance and support from the Associates, Partners, Dean of Students and Stakeholder Services team). Their responsibilities also include but are not limited to: maintaining accurate records of student's progress formally and informally; meeting with colleagues on a regular basis to analyze data and report on progress of curriculum, management of individual schoolhouse and collaboration on other schoolhouse systems.
