This position offers the opportunity to be involved in both the administrative aspect of our programs and expand your experience with children. We are looking for someone who can be a strong addition to our leadership team and provide experience and positive energy to our school-aged programs. Come join the fun at Brooklyn Beans!JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and oversee afterschool and day camp programs and activities in coordination with program directorAssist with coordination and management of school-aged programs, including record keeping and documentationAct as a role model to children and other team members, and demonstrate leadership to assure safety and developmentEnsure a team-based work environment by communicating effectively and positively with supervisors, co-workers, families, and other team membersPerform other duties as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS:5 years of related experience at an established afterschool or day camp program1 year of supervisory experience in an established afterschool or day camp programBachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related fieldProficiency in emailing, scheduling, and creating spreadsheetsAbility to be creative, responsible, and think on your feet to create a fun and positive environment for childrenAbility to communicate effectively and build rapport with children, families, and other team membersAbility to create dynamic afterschool and day camp programming and activitiesJob Benefits:At Beansprouts, we offer a competitive benefits package including generous paid time off, professional development, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) retirement plan!
