You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. You will be responsible to coordinate good leaving factory through arrival at the customer.A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices. Candidate must have experience with goods produced in China and shipped to the US.The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor supply chain operations-Manage the day to day operations that support supply chain, order fulfillment, warehouse, and customer support.Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectivelyBuild strong relationships to ensure value, cost and service alignmentUtilize logistics IT to optimize proceduresSupervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needsResponsible for supply chain from origin to receipt in warehouse through delivery to customer - B2C drop ship/B2B Wholesale direct ship to store, e-commerce drop ship.Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfactionPlan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirementsKeep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.Forecast inventory needs based on sales trendsPrepare accurate reports for upper managementRequirementsProven experience as a logistics coordinatorStrong Excel skills is a MUST.Experience in customer service will be appreciatedKnowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirementsAbility to work with little supervision and track multiple processesComputer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)Outstanding organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant fieldHours: 9:00AM-6:00 PMLocation: Brooklyn NYSalary dependent on experience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
