Each bag is made by hand outside Florence with considered details and thoughtful design.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design & Product Development Intern to support our team across handbags, small leather goods (SLGs), belts, and home categories. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, design-driven environment with exposure to the full product lifecycle"”from concept through production.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct trend and competitive research across handbags, accessories, and homeSupport the design team in creating CADs and line review materialsExecute simple tech packs and assist with proto corrections under team guidanceAssist with organizing and maintaining sample inventory (protos, SMS, materials)Maintain and update leather, trim, and color librariesCreate presentation boards and charts for design and product developmentCoordinate shipping and receiving between the NY office and international vendors (including Italy)Support product repair processes in collaboration with production and merchandising teamsAssist with inventory tracking, sample logs, and internal systems organizationProvide general support to the Design & PD team as neededQualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive, self-starter mindsetBasic understanding of handbag construction and materialsProficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Excel requiredInterest in product development, accessories, and materialsWhat You'll GainHands-on experience across design, development, and productionExposure to working with international vendors and manufacturing processesInsight into materials sourcing and product lifecycle managementA collaborative, high-growth environment with direct team exposurePreferred (Not Required)Experience with PLM systems (e.g., RLM)Previous internship or coursework in accessories or product developmentWe are looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and gain meaningful industry experience.
