Bronx, New York - Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Clinical Role: Permanent, full-time positionSeeking a board certified Nurse PractitionerMultispecialty group settingNursing home-based dermatology careMust have at least 6 months of dermatology experience (general dermatology, not cosmetic-only)H1B visa sponsorship availableJ1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcomeSpanish-speaking preferred (not required) Position Overview: Support dermatology physicians and facilitate patient care and recoveryWork under physician supervision caring for a diverse patient population Responsibilities: Obtain medical histories and perform physical examsConduct skin cancer screeningsDiagnose and treat dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, rosacea, etc.)Order and interpret diagnostic testsPerform procedures: biopsies, wide excisions, cryotherapyDevelop and manage treatment plansPrescribe medicationsEducate patients on preventive skincarePerform select cosmetic procedures (Botox, laser resurfacing, chemical peels)Assist in surgical procedures, including Mohs surgery Qualifications: Active, unrestricted NP licenseDEA requiredBLS/CPR certification requiredMaster's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP programMinimum 6 months of dermatology experience requiredLong-term care or SNF experience preferred (hospital/outpatient also considered)Familiarity with EMR systems (Sigma, Visual, PCC preferred; training available)Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $130,000-$150,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits package Organization Information: Large multispecialty group with locations across NYCOver 140 physicians and 100+ advanced practice providersStrong administrative and operational support Area Information - Bronx, New York: Bronx offers a dynamic urban environment with access to world-class healthcare, dining, and entertainment.Easy access to Manhattan and the rest of New York City via extensive public transportation.Home to iconic attractions like Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Zoo.Diverse communities with rich cultural experiences and food scenes.Ideal for providers seeking an urban practice with a broad and varied patient population.
