Field Support Specialist

Job DescriptionThis role supports field service operations by coordinating schedules and working closely with factory and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of service activities. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and recommending corrective actions, as well as collecting and maintaining data related to field service performance metrics and customer feedback. The position also manages inventory activities by coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment, maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking shipping and receiving of field service parts and test equipment, and supporting the development of asset tracking systems for tools and equipment. Additional duties include maintaining calibration records and certificates for test equipment and PPE, assisting management with customer experience document reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements, coordinating post-commissioning and emergency service schedules, and handling shipping and logistics tasks, including loading and unloading trucks using a walk-behind forklift.Required Skills & Experience• Ability to assist in tracking project progress, help identify potential risks/issues and recommend corrective actions• Ability to create schedules of post-commissioning and emergency services while collecting data• Ability to track the shipping and receiving of delivered FS parts and test equipment that arrive at the FS Office• Excellent communication skills and customer presence are a must• Willingness to drive to and deliver parts to customer sites, travel up to 25%• Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteNice to Have Skills & Experiencebackground in electrical, power distribution, or other engineer fieldsPay Ranges from $38.50/hr-$47.00/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings, paid leave as provided by applicable law.
