Facility in Bridgeport, CT seeking Thoracic Surgery APP locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Opportunity Highlights Contract Duration: July 20, 2026 October 19, 2026 Schedule: 3 4 days per week (10-hour shifts) Work-Life Balance: No on-call expected Acuity: Primarily minimally invasive cases, including lung and foregut surgery Clinical Responsibilities The AP provider will be integrated into the full continuum of thoracic surgical care: Surgical First Assisting: Provide expert assistance in the OR for thoracic (non-cardiac) procedures. Robotic Surgery: Utilize robotic platforms for minimally invasive thoracic cases. Inpatient Care: Manage rounding, admissions, and discharge planning for thoracic patients. Outpatient Clinic: See office patients for pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up.
