About:Full-time positionLocation: Brawley, CASchedule: Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend to patients.Travel: Required to rotate between all the Health Clinics as needed.The Role:This role is focused on providing high-quality medical care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The Staff Physician will play a key role in patient management, documentation, and compliance with medical protocols, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.Key Responsibilities:Provide highest standard of outpatient medical care to patientsTake responsibility for accurate charting and documentationManage cases for patients with chronic conditionsConsult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management problemsArrange timely consultations with specialistsParticipate in staff meetings and contribute to clinic improvementPrescribe essential medicine to patientsFacilitate audits for compliance with State and Federal regulationsServe as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant studentsParticipate in daily team meetings/huddlesSupport nursing staff in implementing policies and proceduresQualifications:Doctorate degreeValid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/licenseValid Medical Doctor (MD) certification/license in the state of California (CA)ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP)American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
