The Best Western Center Point Inn on the Strip is searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You will welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. If you love interacting with people in a positive work environment, apply now!For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.Compensation:$15.55 per hourResponsibilities:Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programsGeneral bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-dateGive every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbersConnect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are readyField customer complaints when necessaryQualifications:Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skillsHas experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situationsHas previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferredAbout CompanyMyer Hospitality is a local family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in hospitality.
