Hospice Aide/CNA

JOB SUMMARY:As a Hospice Aide you will perform personal care activities related to the activities of daily living, under direction of a Case Manager [RN].QUALIFICATIONS: Must have reliable vehicle.12 months of caregiving experience required (home care, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing/nursing home, hospital or hospice),Hospice experience preferredExcellent customer service skillsCurrent CPR CertifiedValid driver's license and auto insurance RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Personal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, etc)Review patient care planLifting and transferringAssistance with range of motion & positioning, exercise & ambulationAssistance with dining & nutritionElectronic charting In addition: Needs strong understanding of professional boundariesMust be able to lift 50 lbsGood understanding of body mechanicsStrong communication skills-written, verbal, listening with attentionGood problem solving skillsGood time management of self and othersAble to function in an electronic medical record Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: Dental InsuranceHealth InsurancePaid Time OffVision Insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday License: CNA (Required)
