Dock & Hoist Installation Technician DOCKDAYS - Northern Michigan - is looking for dependable people to join our installation crew for the upcoming season. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing the job right, this could be a great fit. Since 1998, Bulmann Dock and Lift / DOCKDAYS has installed Bulmann docks and boat lifts on lakes throughout Northern Michigan. This is hands-on, physical work done outdoors with a solid crew. Job Responsibilities You'll work with a small crew installing docks, boat lifts, and waterfront equipment. Every job site is different, so the work stays interesting. Typical responsibilities include: Installing docks and boat hoists Servicing and adjusting dock and lift equipment Removing docks and hoists at the end of the season Working with tools and installation equipment Carrying dock sections and materials Working in and around the water Assisting crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently Some days you may be in the water, some days working on the shoreline, and other days moving materials and setting dock sections. Qualifications We're looking for people who: Show up on time and ready to work Are comfortable with physical outdoor work Work well as part of a team Take pride in doing the job right Can follow directions and learn quickly Experience with construction, landscaping, dock installation, or similar hands-on work is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Our busiest months typically run April through November, depending on weather and lake conditions. Many members of our crew return year after year, and we're looking for dependable people who want to build that same long-term working relationship with our team.
