Construction Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking talented and qualified professionals to work a long term contract with one of our largest technology clients in the Boydton, VA area. This person will join the infrastructure integrity team and work between the commissioning and construction teams to stop and/or prevent any maintenance issues after turn over of live data centers from the general contractor. Projects can range from a large scale fiber project, to GPU deployments, to the construction of a car park. We are seeking dynamic individuals to perform program management & administrative duties to ensure the physical structure of the newly constructed data center meets the design specifications of the owner. Candidates will be responsible to ensure Data Centers are built to the correct specs, participate in design calls, site walks & inspections, document any potential installation or construction issues, and track the remediation of issues through correction.Qualifications5+ years of experience in Critical Environments, Data Centers, or General ConstructionStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (power, cooling, HVAC, etc.)Experience with design reviews, inspections, and project documentationHands on experience with data center infrastructure (low and/or high voltage)Working knowledge of NFPA70E, NEC, ASME, IEEE, and safety best practicesAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast paced environmentNice to HaveData center infrastructure experience (UPS, generators, AHUs)PMP, PMI, NFPA, OSHA, HVAC, or EPA certificationsBachelor's degree or technical certification in electrical or mechanical disciplinesExperience on large scale critical environment projectsCJIS certification or IT infrastructure familiarityCompensation:$45/hr to $55/hr.
