Department: MachiningSummary: Plans, sets up, and operates typical machine shop equipment and tools to machine raw steel and castings to print into usable parts for Demco products Primary Duties:Sets up and operate machines to create parts to printAccurately use a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before and during productionAbility to identify a problem and make adjustments accordingly Keep accurate counts on partsBe self motivated to meet order deadlinesCommunicate with employees in the department as well as with employees in other departmentsPerforms other duties as requiredMachinist description is intended to define in general terms the most significant duties of a particular position and is not all inclusive of all duties or responsibilities of individual positions.
