APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open until filled Can you handle big vehicles and big personalities? "If so, we want YOU to drive the adventure!" Location: Wherever the fun is happening Schedule: Camp days, field trips, special events Passengers: Campers, participants, and a whole lot of energy What You/'ll Do * Safely transport campers and participants to and from camp, field trips, and special events * Drive passenger vans and/or buses depending on assignment and licensing * Perform basic vehicle safety checks (because superheroes inspect their rides) * Keep order on the bus & bring positive vibes - with kindness, humor, and confidence * Serve as a friendly, reliable presence for campers and staff What We/'re Looking For * Minimum 21 yrs. of age * Valid driver/'s license & CDL required if applicable * Clean driving record * Experience driving buses or large vehicles * Patience, responsibility, and a good sense of humor * Ability to say, "Seats please!" at least 14 times per trip * Enjoyment of high-energy environments (and occasional spontaneous singing) SALARY: * Driver Pay Grade 50; $16.90 per hour - (no CDL required) * CDL Bus Driver Pay Grade 70; $19.90 per hour WORK HOURS: 5-6 hrs. per day; Monday - Friday The City of Bowling Green is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug - Free Workplace.
