Crew Leader - Cemetery Division

WHAT YOU/'LL BE DOING: * Lead a dedicated team while actively working alongside staff to keep cemetery grounds safe, respectful, and beautifully maintained. * Conduct regular inspections of cemetery grounds to ensure quality, compliance, and respectful appearance. * Plan and coordinate daily assignments, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth operations. * Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety of equipment such as tractors, mowers, backhoes, and hand tools. * Oversee and participate in projects with care, safety, and attention to detail. * Maintain accurate records and reports to support efficient operations. * Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safe practices for all staff. * Engage with the public and City departments, fostering positive relationships and trust. SALARY: * Pay Grade G6; $54,633 annually WORK HOURS: * 40 hrs. a week; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 p.m.; weekend work required If you/'re ready to take this on, the requirements are below: REQUIREMENTS: * Associate/'s degree, vocational/college, or any equivalent combination of experience and education * 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. * Valid Driver/'s License; specific certifications may be required.
