Join our team as a Drive-In General Manager, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our Drive-In, ensuring that we deliver quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. Your leadership will help create enjoyable experiences for our guests and ensure our Drive-In runs smoothly. What We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent is required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields are preferred. At least two (2) years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick service restaurants (QSR), with the ability to run shifts independently. Available to work a minimum of 5 days per week, including 4 closing shifts, as well as nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and employee selection processes. Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, along with local health and sanitation regulations. Strong leadership, supervisory skills, and effective verbal and written communication. Proficiency in basic accounting and computer usage. Ability to follow directions and work autonomously once given instructions; adept at multitasking and problem-solving. Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills. Commitment to uphold SONIC's appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards. We are looking for someone with: Prior management experience in the restaurant or retail sector is highly desired. A commitment to high standards for themselves and their team. The ability to prioritize and effectively complete tasks. Excellent leadership and communication skills. An associate's degree in Business or a related field is preferred. Your Responsibilities Will Include Hiring, training, and supervising a team of dedicated staff to provide a SuperSONIC experience for every guest. Exemplifying a fair, firm, and fun leadership approach by leading through example. Managing profit and loss statements to meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual expectations. Addressing employee concerns promptly and thoughtfully. Celebrating team successes and coaching for enhanced performance. Setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback. Creating a positive work atmosphere that makes the shift enjoyable. Helping team members understand the broader context of their roles by sharing the reasons behind tasks. Utilizing metrics to assess Drive-In performance and drive necessary improvements. Engaging with the community to increase Drive-In sales and brand recognition. Enforcing SONIC's safety and sanitation standards consistently. Ensuring strict compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
