Primary Care Physician Bonifay Medical Clinic Full-Time | Exempt | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Role PanCare of Florida is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our mission-driven healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to individuals and families, with a strong focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and health equity for underserved and diverse populations. As a key clinical leader within a multidisciplinary care team, you'll diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, support community-based health initiatives, and help drive high-quality, evidence-based care. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including health histories and physical examinationsDiagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespanDevelop and direct individualized treatment plans and provide patient counselingPrescribe medicationsin accordance withFlorida statutes and professional practice guidelinesPerform minor in-office procedures within scope of practiceOrder, review, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, EKGs, etc.)in a timely mannerCoordinate andfacilitatereferrals for specialty care and services not provided on siteProvide preventive care services, screenings, and health educationSupervise and mentor mid-level practitioners (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants)Supervise medical students and trainees as assignedParticipate in outreach and off-site healthcare programs as directed by the Chief Medical OfficerCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of careMaintainaccurate,timelydocumentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)Adhere to UDS productivity standards and organizational performance expectationsParticipate in peer review, quality assurance, quality improvement initiatives, and provider meetingsComply withinfection control policies, safety programs, and emergency preparedness protocolsAssistin the development and updating of clinical protocols and standards of practiceSupport clinic operations to promote efficient, patient-focused workflowsPerform other duties as assigned to support a well-functioning clinicWhat Success Looks Like You will thrive in this role if you are: • A skilled clinician confident in managing a broad scope of primary care needs • Deeply patient-centered with strong communication and counseling skills • Passionate about serving underserved and diverse communities • Comfortable leading and collaborating within a team-based care model • Organized, efficient, and committed to high-quality documentation • Dedicated to continuous improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence Required Skills & Competencies Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills in primary careExpertisein chronic disease management and preventive medicineExcellent patient communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skillsCultural sensitivity and awareness of social determinants of healthProficiencywith EHR systems and clinical documentationAbility to educate and motivate patients toward improved health outcomesProblem-solving skills in fast-paced, high-volume clinical settingsKnowledge of HIPAA, regulatory compliance, and professional standardsLeadership capability in supervising clinical staff and traineesEducation & Experience Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related fieldActive, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)Minimum of 2-3 years of primary care experience preferredExperience in FQHCs or underserved community settings strongly preferredExperience managing chronic conditions, preventive care, and acute illnessesFamiliarity with EHR systems and medical documentationCurrent BLS certificationrequiredPhysical Requirements This role requires: Prolonged standing and walking during clinic operationsOccasional lifting orassistingpatients with mobility needsManual dexterity for procedures, examinations, and documentationAbility to bend, reach, and access medical equipment and suppliesVisual and auditory acuity to assess patients and review medical recordsStamina to work in a busy clinical environment with potential on-call responsibilities Why Join PanCare?
