Title: Senior Test Technician (Electronics/Calibration)Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleJoin a technical manufacturing team supporting electronics testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and product verification activities. This role focuses on working with advanced electronic test equipment, performing diagnostics, and supporting production and engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, troubleshooting electronic assemblies, and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, and technical manualsPerform testing and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical assembliesUse electronic test equipment including:OscilloscopesSignal generatorsMultimetersSpecialized test equipmentSet up and operate test and experimental equipmentPerform alignment, calibration, and functional testing activitiesTroubleshoot and repair defective components and assembliesPerform soldering and assembly support activities when requiredConduct tests and experiments and document technical resultsAnalyze test data and verify conformance to specificationsCreate and support test procedures and data sheetsCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support product transitionsProvide technical guidance and support to team membersSupport continuous improvement and process optimization initiativesQualificationsAssociate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field preferredOR equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years of related electronics test experienceStrong experience troubleshooting electronic assembliesExperience using:OscilloscopesSignal generatorsMultimetersAbility to read and understand schematics and diagnostic dataBasic mechanical aptitudeStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience supporting calibration and testing activitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systemsStrong technical communication skillsAbility to work independently in a manufacturing/test environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting manufacturing or production test environmentsExperience supporting transitional or new product introduction programsExperience with soldering and electronic assemblyFamiliarity with test software applicationsExperience supporting continuous improvement activitiesCompensationEstimated hourly range: $32-$35/hr (W-2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:30 PMWork Location: 100% Onsite - Boca Raton, FLContract Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
