Job Description:
The HR Generalist is the go-to HR partner supporting a large, hourly workforce across Retail/Consumer Brands/Direct Store Delivery (DSD). This role handles day-to-day HR needs, from employee relations and pay/benefits questions to recruiting and onboarding, serving as the first point of contact for employees and leaders.This person takes a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach: resolving issues directly, partnering with Centers of Excellence (payroll, benefits, etc.), and escalating complex matters when needed. Success in this role requires strong prioritization, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.What You'll Do:Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations, policies, and HR inquiriesSupport recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for hourly rolesPartner with leaders on performance management and engagement initiativesAssist with compensation planning, reporting, and HR programsCoordinate training and development effortsSupport HR projects and maintain accurate, confidential employee recordsBenefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
