Locum General Dentist needed near Lone Pine, California Area information , Our three clinics are located in the Eastern Sierra, with breathtaking scenery and numerous recreation opportunities. The Eastern Sierra is located in Central California on the Nevada border. The dramatic geography of the Eastern Sierra includes many marvelous destinations including Mammoth Lakes, a renowned ski resort; fishing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains; hiking at Yosemite National Park; and exploration of Death Valley National Monument. The recreational opportunities also include climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, photography, and much more. Our clinics are located in the small, rural communities of Lone Pine, Bishop, and Coleville. Life in a rural community is friendly, engaged, and supportive. REQUIRED: Dentist to provide surgical services such as extractions as well as fabrication of dentures/partials, root canals, and crowns. All complex procedures and Indian Health experienceHourly + Travel Expenses Outpatient Clinic - IHS Facility Credentialing: 2-3 weeks Start: ASAP End: 3 month contract, high option to extend. Work Schedule: Mon-Thur 8A-5PPatient Volume: 14-18 patient a day (Some PEDS patients under the age of 10)Procedures: ALL PROCEDURES REQUIRED Root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions, some corrective and oral surgery, endo, etc. (if a provider can do a majority, please send over to me to discuss more)EMR: NexGen License: California preferred, WILL ACCEPT ANY STATE LICENSE Certifications: Board Certified, BLS, DEA Relevant Exp/Skill Set Needed: No specialty Dentist in the area, so a lot of procedures in house (root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns, etc.) A lot of deferred care and people needing a lot of dentures, impacts, etc., and trying not to do ortho in house but it does happen Additional Info: COVID vaccine required Indian Health experience or rural health experience highly preferred, this is a rural but beautiful area Will have an RDA s for support, but they are newer and in training They have 10 operators, modern and fairly new office about six years old (7 available for Dentist .
