Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree) approved by the APTA.Current California Physical Therapist license required by the start of the assignment.Recent experience in outpatient orthopedics required.Current CPR/BLS certification required.Ability to perform primarily one-on-one outpatient care for orthopedics, general deconditioning, balance/fall prevention, and related diagnoses.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to learn Cerner and other clinical software such as McKesson Clinical Care Station.Effective interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to instruct patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.Willingness to float to acute/inpatient care as needed.Preferred: inpatient/acute care experience. Preferred: additional PT specialties such as pelvic health, vestibular rehab, outpatient neuro rehab, pediatrics, or lymphedema. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital outpatient clinic.Shift Name: Days.Shift Hours: 0800-1830.Days Needed: 4 days per week.Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month on call, approximately 0700-0900 for coverage.Primary Caseload: Primarily outpatient orthopedics with minimal inpatient/acute care as needed.EMR System: Cerner.Must be able to review clinicians with pending state license: Yes.
