Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology to join our Inpatient Team. Minimum of one year of NP experience in cardiology or cardiovascular surgery required; inpatient or critical care experience preferred. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner a plus! Involves daily rounding, consult management, and patient discharge planning in collaboration with the attending cardiology team. Provide comprehensive, evidence-based cardiovascular care - ranging from acute coronary syndromes and heart failure to post-procedural follow-up. This is a 100% inpatient role managing adult patients (ages 18+). Full-time, hospital-employed position. Participation in shared call rotation for nights and weekends is required.
