The YMCA of Broome County has an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference as a Security Manager in our Housing Development.As a Security Manager, you will oversee daily security operations to ensure a safe, structured, and secure environment for residents, members, staff, and guests.Job Responsibilities: Assist in supervising a security team consisting of 8-12 staff members Support the enforcement of security policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe environment for residents, members, staff, and guests Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training Provide shift coverage as needed to maintain appropriate staffing levels Develop and maintain weekly security staff schedules Assist with developing and implementing inventory tracking systems for housing supplies, including drug testing materials, linens, bedding, and other necessary items as directed by the Housing Director Assist in ensuring security staff complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements Perform all duties and responsibilities required of YMCA Security Guards Salary:$20.00 per hourShift:Tuesday-SaturdayTime: 4pm-12:30amBenefits:Paid vacation, sick and personal daysMedical, Dental and Vision BenefitsFree YMCA Membership for you and your household membersDiscounts on YMCA services403(b) and YMCA Retirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramMy Better Benefits ProgramRequirements Dedication to helping others High School Diploma or equivalent Candidate must be at least 18 years of age Excellent communication skills General knowledge in Microsoft Office Experience working with individuals with mental and physical health diagnoses or substance abuse preferred
