Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques during the assembly process of diversified metal assemblies, adhering to customer drawing specifications and work order instructions.Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques for fabrications. Ensure weld operations comply with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings. Conduct quality and self-inspections using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools. Meet pre-established objectives independently or as part of a team, with limited supervision. Ensure safety in handling parts and operating equipment to prevent damage to oneself, others, or production. Actively participate in new product introductions and suggest new approaches for production and quality improvements. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. Perform routine maintenance on welding machines as outlined in maintenance procedure manuals. Keep the workplace free of dangerous obstacles. Essential Skills 5+ years' experience in MIG/TIG welding. Experience in welding heavy steel and stainless steel. Experience with new build welds and repair welds. Ability to read blueprints. Proficiency in TIG, Flux core, and stainless steel welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Manual dexterity. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. It involves standing for up to six hours per day, with occasional sitting. The role requires the ability to lift 0-50 lbs. in a proper ergonomic position.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Binghamton, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
