The purpose of the Construction Project Manager is to manage the daily operations of the commercial and/or high-end residential development projects. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly or indirectly supervises employees and/or supervisors; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club's policies, procedures and applicable laws; responsibilities include but are not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities Include: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manage a general contractor to ensure that specified construction work is completed in accordance with engineer/architect's plans, county/state regulations, and other specifications. Work with owners and general contractors to ensure quality, cost, and schedule. Facilitate owner and/or interior designer design decisions are made in time to support the construction schedule. Ensure equipment and materials are ordered to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Monitor construction activities to verify schedules and materials. Financial and document control using Procore. Verify change order requests for accuracy and presentation to the owners for approval. Review and process pay applications to ensure timely payment to General Contractor, Designers, and other Vendors involved in the projects. Consult with the design team related to modification of plans & project scope to improve overall project design. Study specifications and perform field inspections of construction activity to verify compliance with the contract documents. Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that construction schedules are adhered to. Document that quality control issues identified by YC staff, design consultants, and/or 3rd party inspectors are addressed and the corrections are thoroughly documented. Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure teamwork within project organization, utilizing the resources needed to drive quality and value to our clients. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering; or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of project management experience for complex commercial, vertical construction projects, high-end residential, or large-scale master planned developments 5 years+ experience supervising construction projects of increasing complexity. Certificates & Licenses Valid State Driver's License Computer Skills Strong computer skills and be able to use applicable construction management software. Language Ability Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly. Math Ability Able to perform basic math calculations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
