job summary: Manufacturer in northwestern Minneapolis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience doing 3D modeling with sheetmetal using Solidworks. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. This position is fully onsite and will focus on 3D design for manufacturing using Solidworks. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. location: BIG LAKE, Minnesota job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 85,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Work closely with customers in a professional manner Evaluate manufacturing processes by reviewing product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, outsourced material vendors, and feedback from operators. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing designs and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) suggestions.
