Make a difference in Imaging! As a full-time CT Technologist II at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Summary of Essential Duties: * Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions * Administer contrast material * Prepare and operate CT scan equipment * Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images * Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading * Cleans and disinfects patient rooms * Follow infection control and safety guidelines We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs! Qualifications Education: * Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required Licensure/Certifications: * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required * California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year from start date * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required * Venipuncture certification required Experience: * A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist required * Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered as a CT Tech I * Experience in a hospital setting required, including Emergency Department and inpatient cases * Experience with Trauma and Stroke patients required * Experience with advanced exams, including Angio of abdomen or head and neck, required Keywords: Computed Tomography, CT-Scan, Tech, Technologist, Technician, Imaging, Radiology, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, California
