Position: Supply Chain ManagerLocationBessemer, AL Salary: $100,000 - $120,000OverviewEnsure the company has the materials required to build products on schedule Procure parts and supplies from vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages of critical items Forecast future needs to support production based on anticipated demand Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure deliveries are timely and cost effective Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, finance, sales) to support efficient operations Use ERP/MRP systems to analyze data, identify issues, and improve processes Identify opportunities to reduce costs, minimize waste, and optimize supply chain performanceQualifications5+ years working in supply chain, purchasing, or logisticsExperience in a manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar (preferred)Strong Excel and data analysis skillsExperience using supply chain software (ERP/MRP)Able to turn data into clear, useful insightsStrong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and logisticsProven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costsExperience negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliersAble to secure good deals while keeping strong relationships
