Responsibilities of a Border Patrol Agent: Your duties will include: Monitoring and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws. Qualifications: To qualify as a GL-9 Border Patrol Agent, you will need: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-7 level in a law enforcement capacity. For GS-11, you must have: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-9 level that includes significant law enforcement responsibilities.
