The position reports directly to the CEO and manages a team of internal accounting professionals while transitioning offshore functions back in-house. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and experienced in both technical accounting and team leadership.Why join us?Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potentialComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off and company holidaysFlexible work environment and leadership visibilityOpportunity to work directly with executive leadership and influence business decisionsCareer growth with the ability to build and shape the accounting functionProfessional development support, including CPA reimbursement (if applicable)Stable and growing organization with long-term advancement potentialJob DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ReportingLead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare, review, and present financial statements in compliance with GAAP.Deliver meaningful financial analyses, dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and variance reports.Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise approximately four internal accounting staff.Transition offshore accounting functions back to internal teams while improving quality and efficiency.Coach, mentor, and develop accounting staff to build a high-performing team.Accounting OperationsOversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, reconciliations, tax compliance, and fixed assets.Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.Process Improvement & SystemsEvaluate and improve accounting systems and tools to streamline processes.Standardize workflows and strengthen internal controls to support growth.Strategic Business PartneringCollaborate with the CEO and executive leadership on financial strategy, planning, and business decisions.Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce risk, and scale finance operations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus.8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3-5 years in a leadership role.Deep knowledge of GAAP and strong technical accounting expertise.Proven ability to manage teams, streamline processes, and implement accounting best practices.Experience with financial close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems/ERP software.Interested in hearing more?
