The role involves overseeing daily farm operations with a focus on mushroom cultivation. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems, managing crop growth, overseeing harvesting processes, and handling farm-related administrative tasks. The Mushroom Farm Manager will also be responsible for ensuring sustainable farming practices and maintaining the quality of produce to meet company standards. We are looking to expand into greenhouse agriculture as well, so general farming knowledge and land maintenence is a plusQualificationsExperience in Farm Management and Agriculture practicesKnowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenanceExpertise in managing operations for farms and crop cultivationFamiliarity with mushroom farming techniques or related agricultural processes is a bonusStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsCommitment to sustainability and innovative farming practicesAbility to work in an on-site, hands-on farming environmentEducation or certification in Agriculture or a related field is a plus
