General Manager for Restaurant Operations

As the General Manager, you will: Inspire and guide Crew/Team members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops through effective training and mentorship Oversee restaurant operations to ensure food service standards and guest satisfaction are consistently met Enforce adherence to the employee handbook and operational policies Efficiently manage restaurant opening and closing duties Create and oversee employee work schedules, adjusting staffing as needed for optimal performance Maintain proper inventory levels and order supplies while following cost control procedures Manage employee records and payroll accurately Foster a customer-centric atmosphere, promptly and respectfully addressing guest requests Recruit and hire qualified restaurant crew and managers to maintain appropriate staffing levels Prepare operational reports and implement action plans to resolve financial or sales challenges Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance restaurant visibility and boost sales Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred At least two years of management experience in a restaurant setting (QSR experience is a plus) Availability to work a minimum 5-day workweek with flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Knowledge of recruitment and employee selection processes Familiarity with labor laws and health regulations Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in computer applications Able to follow directions while also managing tasks independently Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Commitment to upholding SONIC's uniform and hygiene standards If you’re ready to lead a team in creating a fun, fast-paced environment while ensuring an enjoyable experience for our customers, we want to hear from you!
