About Us:We are starting a new, scholarship-based school dedicated to providing specialized educationfor neurodivergent children, particularly those with moderate to severe Autism SpectrumDisorder. Our school's first class will initially include up to five kindergarten-aged students (5-7years old) supported by a collaborative, interdisciplinary team comprised of:• Head Teacher• Assistant Teachers• Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)• Occupational Therapist (OT; current open position)• Head of School• Clinical Care CoordinatorOur school is founded on a commitment to providing individualized, high-quality education andsupport for neurodivergent children. We are aiming to foster a nurturing, inclusive learningenvironment with a 1:1 student-to-adult ratio so that we may best serve our students' individualneeds. Although we will not be accredited in our first year, we are dedicated to establishing astrong foundation for future accreditation and long-term growth.The BCBA will serve as the behavioral lead within the school, designing and overseeing individualized behavior support plans that promote student engagement, communication, and independence. This role is school-based only and focuses on collaboration with educators and related service providers rather than clinic-style ABA.Key ResponsibilitiesStudent SupportConduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)Implement and monitor evidence-based behavior strategies appropriate for a school settingSupport students with minimal to no verbal communication using positive, proactive approachesFocus on regulation, transitions, classroom readiness, and functional communicationCollaborationWork closely with classroom staff and related service providers (OT, SLP)Provide hands-on coaching and modeling for classroom staffParticipate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education planning as neededPartner with families to ensure consistency and carryover of strategiesData & OversightCollect and analyze behavior data to monitor progress and inform decision-makingAdjust interventions based on student response and developmental needsEnsure documentation aligns with ethical and professional standardsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
