On W2 (Depending on Experience/Interview)Duration: Contract Role Shift times: 1st shift 06:00 AM to 02:30 PMJob Description:Seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Ground Systems Logistics team in support of the Ground Gateway Terminal (GGT) program.In this role, you will work alongside the Ground Gateway Logistics Program Manager to coordinate global GGT shipments, manage relationships with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and ensure on-time delivery performance across a fast-paced, globally distributed program.The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, robust communication skills, a bias for action, and a commitment to delivering results in a dynamic logistics environment.Role OverviewLogistics Coordinators support end-to-end shipment coordination and operational execution for GGT systems deployed across global regions, including APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. Core responsibilities include:Coordinate domestic and international GGT shipments, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency in meeting delivery schedules and service level agreementsUpdate and process shipments using the SAP Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate and timely data entry to maintain shipment visibility and operational integrityServe as the primary operational point of contact for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) on active GGT shipmentsRespond quickly and decisively to time-sensitive LSP inquiries, pickup requirements, and shipment status requests across multiple time zones, including APAC, EMEA, and LATAMCoordinate with internal logistics teams and external partners to protect on-time delivery performance against planned GGT deployment schedulesProvide the GGT program with proactive, transparent shipment status updates and real-time visibility into logistics operationsSupport customs and import compliance coordination for international GGT shipmentsAssist in building and maintaining SOPs, playbooks, and operational documentation to drive process improvement and long-term sustainabilitySupport data quality improvements to enable better reporting, planning, and operational visibility for Ground Systems Logistics leadershipPhysical / Environmental DemandsPrimarily office/remote work environment with low to moderate noise levelsProlonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computerOccasional participation in warehouse or logistics facility visits as neededWork EnvironmentFast-paced, globally distributed program environmentStaggered shift coverage required to support shipments across multiple time zonesCollaborative team environment working closely with internal program teams and external logistics partnersBasic Qualifications3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, freight operations, or supply chain managementMust be at least 18 years old with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelinesHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics platformsAbility to work staggered or non-standard hours to support global shipment coverageStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to respond quickly and clearly to LSP and partner inquiriesAble to read and take direction in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP Transportation Management System (SAP TMS)Experience managing international freight, customs coordination, or import/export complianceFamiliarity with logistics service provider (LSP) management and carrier coordinationExperience supporting global or multi-region shipment programsProficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environmentCommitment to a culture of customer obsession and operational excellenceExperience working within or alongside program management teams"Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors."
