Part-Time Medical Terminology Instructor

ANNOUNCEMENT Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors to teach Medical Terminology. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available. POSITION DESCRIPTION Part-time/adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching the objectives of the course assigned, assessing student learning, and reporting student progress as required by the college and the Higher Learning Commission. QUALIFICATIONS * Meets the minimum instructor requirements: AAS or higher in Nursing or other Allied Health profession. * Teaching experience, preferred * Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet - dependent on the needs of course delivery.
